This is the first time doing this and I hope I am doing it right.
Thank you for Your help.
Hi Stewartv. I need to take some time to look over your Hijack This log to come up with a fix. Please remember that I am an undergraduate which means I need to have my posts to you checked by a teacher or moderator to make sure I'm giving you the proper instructions. This process won't take long and I thank you for your patience. I'll be back with you soon.
Hi Stewartv. Please follow the instructions below:

You may want to print out these instructions for reference, since you will have to restart your computer during the fix.

Step 1

Please download FixWareout from below:
http://downloads.subratam.org/Fixwareout.exe

Save it to your desktop and run it. Click Next, then Install, then make sure "Run fixit" is checked and click Finish. The fix will begin; follow the prompts. You will be asked to reboot your computer; please do so. Your system may take longer than usual to load; this is normal.

When your system reboots, follow the prompts. Afterwards, launch Hijack This. Please click Scan, and check the following items:

O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{017CEC81-E11A-431A-8303-C48D099F02FB}: NameServer = 85.255.114.86,85.255.112.228

O17 - HKLM\System\CS1\Services\Tcpip\Parameters: NameServer = 85.255.114.86 85.255.112.228
O17 - HKLM\System\CS1\Services\Tcpip\..\{017CEC81-E11A-431A-8303-C48D099F02FB}: NameServer = 85.255.114.86,85.255.112.228
O17 - HKLM\System\CS2\Services\Tcpip\Parameters: NameServer = 85.255.114.86 85.255.112.228
O17 - HKLM\System\CS2\Services\Tcpip\..\{017CEC81-E11A-431A-8303-C48D099F02FB}: NameServer = 85.255.114.86,85.255.112.228
O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\Parameters: NameServer = 85.255.114.86 85.255.112.228

Click Fix Checked. Close HijackThis, and click OK to proceed.

At the end of the fix, you may need to restart your computer again.

Step 2

Go to Start > Run, enter cmd and click OK.
  • At the Dos Prompt Screen, type in cd\ and then press .
  • Now type in ipconfig /flushdns and then press . (notice the space after ipconfig)
  • Close the command prompt window.
Step 3

Please go to Start -> Control Panel, and choose Network Connections. Then right click on your default connection, usually Local Area Connection or Dial-up Connection if you are using Dial-up, and left click on properties. Double-click on the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) item and select the radio button that says Obtain DNS servers automatically. Click OK twice, and restart your computer.

Finally, please post the contents of the logfile C:\fixwareout\report.txt, along with a new HijackThis log.
