I can't seem to get rid of this statcounter cookie and Panda Activescan flaged some files as suspicious but I was unable to send to the lab.

Download and install AVG Anti-Spyware (ewido). Then scan and post the report here.

I have done that when these problems first arose and all cookies could be removed besides statcounter and I wasn't even sure if I had it by that time. Everything else was clean, the only problems related to cookies and I got rid of all those ones(except for statcounter if it even was there are the time).
I think these were false positives because I had Desktop Author installed and I've got rid of the cookie so it's no longer a problem.
