I am not sure, I am not an expert, but a friend of mine installed windows xp prof into my system, now I have both home and prof. So when I start my computer it gives me a choice which one I want to use, but it a message comes out telling me the copy is not a legal one. Now my computer is all messed up. bummer! Any feedback? can I uninstall the professional version in a safe manner? thx :ph34r:

I don't know if you can do that without a clean install. You might try Microsoft support.
