I think my daughter's laptop is infected. She uses PC-cillin internet security 2005. She has been getting alerts saying a virus called ADW_CLICKSPRI.P has been detected and the infected file is C:\windows\system32\arskd.dll. The alert usually popsup when IE is opened. However, when the PC-cillin full scan runs it does not detect anything. I deleted arskd.dll but that does not appear to have stopped the alerts. I ran spybot. It did not find anything. I ran adaware. It found one item which I deleted. I downloaded the trial version of XoftSpySE. It detected 7 "severe risk" registry entries and one severe risk file (c:\windows\system32\crosof~1.net). I could not find the detected file. A recent hijackthis log is pasted below. Does she have a serious problem? Can someone help?

Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Under Main choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.

(If you use FireFox or the Opera browser
To keep saved passwords, click No at the prompt.)

If you dont have any programs like these, I would recommend that you get them.
Spywareblaster,
Spywareguard.
IE Spyads
They will add 1000's of sites to your resticted zone and block some hijacks from happening.

Also get a FREE FIREWALL and FREE ANTI VIRUS if you need one.

It is critical to have both a firewall and anti virus to protect your system.

Keep your system up to date and run Adaware & Spybot, once a week works, and hopefully you will be ok from here on. Both are available below.

Safe Surfing. :D

Thanks for your help. Much appreciated. My daughter uses Limewire to download music. Could this be the source of her problems? Any suggestions on how to prevent recurrence? Thanks again.

Getting the 3 suggested files posted in my clean speech will help.
