Log looks good to me.
Are you having any problems?

You need to update SunJava.
Updating Java:
Download the latest version of Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 5.0 Update 10.
  • Scroll down to where it says "The J2SE Runtime Environment (JRE) allows end-users to run Java applications".
  • Click the "Download" button to the right.
  • Check the box that says: "Accept License Agreement".
  • Click on the link to download Windows Offline Installation with or without Multi-language and save to your desktop.
  • Close any programs you may have running - especially your web browser.
  • Go to Start > Control Panel double-click on Add/Remove programs and remove all older versions of Java.
  • Check any item with Java Runtime Environment (JRE or J2SE) in the name. It should have the [external image: Posted Image] icon next to it.
  • Click the Remove or Change/Remove button.
  • Repeat as many times as necessary to remove each Java versions.
  • Reboot your computer once all Java components are removed.
  • Then from your desktop double-click on jre-1_5_0_09-windowsi586-p.exe to install the newest version.

Yes, my parents computer seems to go so SLOW. It seems like it takes forever to load IE. They don't have a lot of programs in the START UP so I was concerned otherwise. I did Ad-Aware, SpyBlaster, S&D, and a Degrag. It has helped a little, but still seems slow to me. I will updat the java. Thank you. ~denise

Lets look at what's in the startup. click Start> Run> type in Msconfig tap enter key. look in the Startup. None of these are bad, but not needed at startup. Uncheck these: mmtask <–Musicmatch Jukebox RealTray <–RealPlayer QuickTime <–qttask.exe" -atboottime MSMSGS <–Messenger Note: This isn't msn messanger ISUSPM Startup ISUSScheduler DMXLauncher After you uncheck it and rebooting, you'll be using Selective startup. When you see the box popup that tells you that, just put a Check in the Box to not show that when you startup. That's how I run mine.
