There could be a large number of reasons for this, so to eliminate possible reasons can you please post back with the answers to the following: 1 When did you last run the disc defragmenter? 2 When did you last run disc cleanup, or other utiliy to empty your cache, temp files etc? 3 When did you last reinstall your operating system? 4 When did you last update Windows? 5 When did you last update your anti virus definitions? 6 When did you last update your anti-spyware applications? 7 Are you operating behind a two way firewall? 8 How much memory (RAM) do you have installed? 9 Date of last virus scan and result 10 Date of last anti-spyware scan and result. 11 How much free hard drive space do you have left, ie 45 Gb free on a 90Gb drive = 50% Sorry about all these questions! and don't worry if your answer is "haven't a clue!" to any or even all of the questions. It will identify to us what we need to ask you to do, next to get your machine flying again! Regards paws
