So my computer is really old, but it should be running faster than it is. If someone could look over my log and give me a few suggestions for cleaning it, i would greatly appreciate it!

Download combofix.exe from the link below:

Combofix.exe

Save it to your desktop.

CLOSE ALL WINDOWS (even this one) AND PROGRAMS!!!!

Run combofix.

When finished, it will produce a log for you.

Post that log in your next reply, along with a new HijackThis! log.

There will probably be some leftover malware we'll need to remove manually, so don't become a stranger to the forum after posting the requested logs.

:)

Note:
Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall

Be sure to show hidden files when looking for these file(s) and/or folder(s).

Reboot in normal mode and "copy/paste" a new HijackThis! log file into this thread. :)

hey, i deleted the items off hijack this, then i rebooted my computer in safe mode to delete the other items you told me to. the only problem is, once the computer rebooted, the mouse stopped working.. i dont know what the problem is. i tried a new mouse and that one didnt work either. so i think the computer is just garbage no.. and i doubt there is any way that what we did made the mouse not work right?

Nope…. Nothing we've altered would affect the mouse. Sounds like a hardware failure (if you've tried a different mouse along with the accompanying software). Mice aren't terribly expensive. If you have a few dollars to spare, I'd suggest trying a different type of mouse. If the one that quit was a serial mouse, get a bus or USB mouse. If the one that quit was a bus or serial mouse, try a USB mouse. Either way, I cannot guarantee this will find/fix the problem. All I can say for sure is that nothing we've removed should affect the mouse. :scratch:

yea.. i had already tried both types of mice.. i think the computer is just garbage now. well thanks for trying to help me clean it anyways
