Hi everyone. Been having trouble with 2 separate trojan horse infections, the second of which I am not even sure exists in this computer,as I cannot find it with any of my software. I have removed Trojan.AntiMcAfee.B four separate times using Spyware Doctor, but now I was notified I have New Poly Win32 in a temp file that McAfee says it cannot remove. I am not even sure that is for real, as nothing else I have installed here can find it. Here's my logfile…I am not terribly experienced, but not exactly brand new to this.

Welcome to the forum.

Lets do this……….

Clean out temp files:

Download and run ATF Cleaner - hit "select all" then just uncheck "cookies" (uncheck cookies is optional - leave it checked if you want to delete all cookies) then click "empty selected" That will clear out all the temp files on the system.

Please download SUPERAntiSpyware Home Edition (free)

Install it and double-click the icon on your desktop to run it.
It will ask if you want to update the program definitions, click "Yes",
let it through your firewall!
Under "Configuration and Preferences", click the "Preferences" button.
Click the "Scanning Control" tab.
Under "Scanner Options" make sure the following are checked:
1> Close browsers before scanning
2> Scan for tracking cookies
3> Terminate memory threats before quarantining.
4> Please leave the others unchecked.
5> Click the Close button to leave the control center screen.

On the main screen, under "Scan for Harmful Software" click "Scan your
computer".
On the left check "C:\Fixed Drive".
On the right, under "Complete Scan", choose "Perform Complete Scan".
Click "Next" to start the scan. Please be patient while it scans your computer.
After the scan is complete a summary box will appear. Click "OK".
Make sure everything in the white box has a check next to it, then click "Next".
It will quarantine what it found and if it asks if you want to reboot, click
"Yes".

To retrieve the removal information for me please do the following:
1> After reboot, double-click the "SUPERAntispyware icon" on your desktop.
2> Click "Preferences". Click the "Statistics/Logs tab".
3> Under "Scanner Logs", double-click "SUPERAntiSpyware Scan Log".
4> It will open in your default text editor (such as Notepad/Wordpad).
5> Please highlight everything in the notepad, then right-click and choose copy.
6> Click close and close again to exit the program.

Please paste that information along with a fresh "HijackThis log" in your reply.

I will try what you say, but I must add I did an online chat with McAfee and they say it is a false positive. Give me a bit of time here…I have a few things to do before proceeding
Nothing shows up on scan except a couple tracking cookies and it's all working well, so I'll take McAfee's word for it at this point. Thank you for your help  :D
