Sorry, I thought that was the restore partition. \windows\ServicePackFiles\i386\ie.inf

That file is npt available, when I try to install ie.inf it is searching for "IEXPLORE.EXE" that is on the install disk that I do not have. any ideas on where to get that file??

You need to contact the company you bought the PC from or Microsoft.

This is my company computer. They image it and don't give us the disks. Thanks for your help and patience, this site is awsome. One last question, is it "Active X " that creates all of the graphics (all the little buttons and graphical content that makes up a page) or is it something else? I am haveing the same problem on some programs as well not just IE.
