I really have no clue as to why its saying all these files are missing or what they even do. I am using windows xp x64 professional. I am guessing it has something to do with x64 because i have used hijackthis before and have never seen anything like this. Something weird that has also been happening is the video cards will mess up and like show thousands of images stretched across the screen. I don't know what is causing this but im starting to think more and more that I have a lil bug problem. Thanks in advance for your help guys!!!

Hello and Welcome to the forum.

Don't wworry about the "file Missing". HJT sometimes doesn't report those correctly

The issues you're having sound more like a hardware issue. If this fix doesn't fix the issues, I'll give you a link to "Other Computer Problems"

I suggest you do this:

Please do not delete anything unless instructed to.

1.Click Start > Settings > Control Panel.
2.Next, open Add/Remove Programs and remove if listed:
Viewpoint Manager

Run hijackthis. Hit None of the above, Click Do a System Scan Only. Put a Check in the box on the left side on these:

F2 - REG:system.ini: UserInit=userinit
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [UpdReg] C:\WINDOWS\UpdReg.EXE
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ViewMgr] "C:\Program Files (x86)\Viewpoint\Viewpoint Manager\ViewMgr.exe"

Close ALL windows and browsers except HijackThis and click "Fix checked"

Reboot and "copy/paste" a new HijackThis log file into this thread.

Also please describe how your computer behaves at the moment.
Ok, here is the new HJT log. The computer is now behaving fairly well. Before I downloaded and ran HJT I did delete a whole bunch of other stuff that I knew was slowing me down as well, but I kind of wish I did not because I would have rather you seen it. Anyways, the computer is behaving like it should and hasn't crashed in a while. But while I was running msconfig from run in the start menu I found that NetMeeting Remote Desktop Sharing process was running and does not have a Microsoft signature and in startup in msconfig there is a blank program that was in start up with no command and this path SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Run. I'm thinking that this is just a deleted program but have no clue. Thanks ALOT for the Help!!!!

The only other thing I see is your Java is outdated.

You need to update SunJava.
Updating Java:
Download the latest version of Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 5.0 Update 9.
  • Scroll down to where it says "The J2SE Runtime Environment (JRE) allows end-users to run Java applications".
  • Click the "Download" button to the right.
  • Check the box that says: "Accept License Agreement".
  • Click on the link to download Windows Offline Installation with or without Multi-language and save to your desktop.
  • Close any programs you may have running - especially your web browser.
  • Go to Start > Control Panel double-click on Add/Remove programs and remove all older versions of Java.
  • Check any item with Java Runtime Environment (JRE or J2SE) in the name. It should have the [external image: Posted Image] icon next to it.
  • Click the Remove or Change/Remove button.
  • Repeat as many times as necessary to remove each Java versions.
  • Reboot your computer once all Java components are removed.
  • Then from your desktop double-click on jre-1_5_0_09-windowsi586-p.exe to install the newest version.
