Hi there,
About 4 months or so ago, I got a windows low virtual memory warning. I thought it was maybe because I had too many tabs opened in Firefox. However, it got worst as time went on up until last month, the warning kept on poping up 1 time per day. So then I pretty much disabled everything except for MacAffe firewall and AV software in the msconfig tool. The low memory warning went away, but that only lasted about 3 weeks. Now though, I am getting low virtual memory warnings and low hard drive space warnings. In addition, last week MacAffe found 2 viruses, which where cleaned out, and I forget the names which propably does not help you guys out, but I did not think it was anything since they were deleted.

Anywho, one thing I did notice today when I first booted up was I first opened up process explorer, and for about 6 mins or so there was a file running which process explorer showed it was using about 49 percent of the cpu resources but then went away. The file was called wmisprve.exe and it was hilighted in a redish brown color. I did a search on the file at google, and found a couple of sites saying that it is a needed windows file and others said it was a virus. Here is the link of one of them saying it is a virus…

Hello killerBob and welcome to the TomCoyote Forums. I am currently looking over your log. As I am an still in training here, everything that I post to you must be reviewed by one of the teachers. Thus, there may be a small delay between posts, but it shouldn't be too long. I will post back shortly with a suggested fix. Thanks for your patience! Dave
Hi killerBob,

I'm not seeing anything bad in your log. It could be a hardware issue. ie need more ram or need more hard drive space. Windows will alert you to low hard drive space when there is around 200mb of free space. You can check to see how much space you have free. I would recommend that you go over to PCPitStop and run their complete system test…it's free and doesn't take much time at all. At they end they will point out areas that may need help. Let me know how you make out.

Regards,
Dave
