I have been having a problem trying to get rid of some malware :rant2: maybe you can help. Below is the Hijack This log

P.S. I have Uninstalled and reinstalled IE 6 numerous times

Welcome to the forum :wavey:

Disable Microsoft Windows Defender:
We need to disable your Microsoft Windows Defender Real-time Protection as it may interfere with the fixes that we need to make.
  • Open Microsoft Windows Defender. Click Start, Programs, Windows Defender
  • Click on Tools, General Settings.
  • Under Real-time protection options, unselect the Turn on real-time protection check box
  • Click Save
After all of the fixes are complete it is very important that you enable Real-time Protection again.

Download The Avenger Copyright © Swandog46
You must extract avenger.exe to your desktop, before you run it.

CLOSE ALL WINDOWS (even this one) AND PROGRAMS!!!!

Run Hijack This!
Click "Do a systen scan only".
Then "check" the box to the left of these item(s):

O2 - BHO: Helper Class - {00D13CE9-1879-41bd-B8A3-EA3CB1BD01BC} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\helper.dll (file missing)

Then click "Fix checked" and close Hijack This!.

Copy all the text contained in the code box below to your Clipboard.

Files to delete:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\rpcc.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\trafkbdy.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\trafkbdy.exe


The above script is for this user only, if you need help please start your own thread.

Start the Avenger.
Under "Script file to execute" choose "Input Script Manually".
Click on the Magnifying Glass icon which will open a new window titled "View/edit script".
Paste the entire text in into this window.
Click done, now click on the Green Light
Answer "Yes" twice when prompted.
Your computer shoud reboot, and briefly open a black command window on your desktop, this is normal.

After the restart, it will create a log file that should open.
This log file will be located at C:\avenger.txt

Paste the contents of C:\avenger.txt into your reply along with a fresh HijackThis! log.

Also: Avenger has made backups of all the files, etc., that you asked it to delete, located at C:\avenger\backup.zip.

Ok it got rid of the files you mentioned….but now it seems other files have appeared below is the new hijack this text followed by the Avenger text
