Hi, Here is my header: Logfile of HijackThis v1.99.1 Scan saved at 6:08:29 PM, on 10/30/2006 Platform: Windows XP SP2 (WinNT 5.01.2600) MSIE: Internet Explorer v6.00 SP2 (6.00.2900.2180) My problem is that a dialog box titled Autoplay is popping up every few seconds. In the box there is an animation of a flash light. It is as if my computer is trying to play a CD, but without a CD. This problem occurs randomly and starts as soon as my computer is fully loaded. Can someone please tell me how to fix this error?

I had the excact bug you described. Before disabling startup items in msconfig, I just disabled my USB card reader. It seems that it was trying to "Autoplay" a memory card. Hope it works. reekysan
