I have been having problems with IE. I will be on a page then the browser will automatically switch to another address. I installed Spyware Doctor and all it does is notify me that the site I'm being routed to is harmful and allows me to close the window.

This morning, Spyware Doctor didn't catch it and I was routed to a website page and the whole computer froze on that webpage. I had to rebbot the computer. What type of problem is causing this? A virus? A hijack? A worm? A trojan horse?

Please review below and advise how to fix this. I would appreciate any assistance.

Thanks,

John
