For some reason, my temporary files folder isn't there, but when I use the disk cleanup utility I can access it. There is also an undeletable file, Najizlizaniji tasteri win korisnika. I checked the properties of it and it just says it's just a "File" (exact word) with 0 KB size. It sounds familiar, like some worm I've heard or seen before…And here's a HijackThis logfile…

Thanks! But I still can't figure out how to get into my stupid Temporary Files Folder…Or maybe I did, I just deleted all the files…
The log looks good.

These:

ntvdm.exe
wowexec.exe
twunk_16.exe

Are all valid Windows processes.

I don't think you have any cause for concern about your "invincible file".

I Googled it and it came up clean.

Try an online virus scan:

Trend-Micro Housecall
Put on 'Autoclean' and delete what it can't clean.

If it finds anything it can't fix , let me know.

I see you're running AVG. But i also see these:

O23 - Service: DefWatch - Symantec Corporation - C:\Program Files\Symantec_Client_Security\Symantec AntiVirus\DefWatch.exe

O23 - Service: Symantec AntiVirus Client (Norton AntiVirus Server) - Symantec Corporation - C:\Program Files\Symantec_Client_Security\Symantec AntiVirus\Rtvscan.exe

Leftovers from a Norton uninstall?

Want to get rid of them? Just let me know.

Thanks! But I still can't figure out how to get into my stupid Temporary Files Folder…Or maybe I did, I just deleted all the files…

There are several "Temporary Files".

Are you referring to this one:

C:\Documents and Settings\\Local Settings\temp

Thanks for the help. The one file though…is unsettling (Like a worm that uses a random name, forgot what it was), but I'll take your word for it. As for my temporary files folder, I don't see my user profile name. It was under Owner last time I saw it. Everytime I check though, there's nothing but cookies and if i check into the temp folder, I see carp**/cookies/temporary files (not the ones I'm looking for). Plus, there's these "File" files called xx2, xx3 etc. up to xx6. Can you give me some info on the "File" things, cause I'm getting kind of paranoid here…lol. And I am running the Trend-Micro Housecall now. Thanks for the help!
C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Desktop\hijackthis\HijackThis.exe

"Owner" is the only one I can see.

I still don't think you have any cause for alarm unless a virus is found.

Keep me posted.
:)
Well, it depends: can I use it in conjunction with AVG? Because I have Norton installed on my computer.
It's not recommended to have more than ONE antivirus program "active".

It will slow your system down, they can start detecting each other as a "virus", if you get an infection they can start detecting each others "quarantined" items, and the list goes on…..

It's your call……
