on ebay if all text page loads in 8 secs with dialup, if it has pics on it, first one will only load half way and only some of balance of pics. if I hit reload first pic will fully load balance of pics will load but I will lose initial pics that were loaded. and last this whole sequence will take about 3 minutes to load entire offering of text and 12 pics. on posts were there are 30 or more pics only text will load. I have the same trouble with Yahoo news where there is text and some 8 pics in most cases last pic will not load at all stopping me from going any further. I have 3 different brousers all same problem. this is a new machine with all the bell and whistles. machine was fast in the first three days and has constantly downgraded now to SLOOOOOW!

I'm not seeing anything bad in your log. Lests see if this helps loading the web pictures:

Updating Java:
Download the latest version of Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 5.0 Update 9.

• Scroll down to where it says "The J2SE Runtime Environment (JRE) allows end-users to run Java applications".

• Click the "Download" button to the right.

• Check the box that says: "Accept License Agreement".

• Click on the link to download Windows Offline Installation with or without Multi-language and save to your desktop.

• Close any programs you may have running - especially your web browser.

• Go to Start > Control Panel double-click on Add/Remove programs and remove all older versions of Java.

• Check any item with Java Runtime Environment (JRE or J2SE) in the name. It should have the [external image: Posted Image] icon next to it.

• Click the Remove or Change/Remove button.

• Repeat as many times as necessary to remove each Java versions.

• Reboot your computer once all Java components are removed.
