iv been having some trouble with my internet, firstly firefox crashes when im watchin a video on youtube, it also doesn't show the ads on that site properly and instead says it is 'unable to connect to the server at ad.yieldmanager.com. i also have been getting the warning that shockwave flah performed an illegal operation on some pages. On top of this sonicstage doesn't work on my computer at all anymore, i get the message 'omgjbox.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close'. I have norton antivirus running on my computer, along with windows defender and avg, i have recently run scans in all of these and i keep on getting the same threat in avg 'downloader.agent.uj'. I can't seem to remove it. i have also downloaded spybot and adaware and have run scans in them.

so anyway heres my hjt log.

will post some panda logs soon
downloader.agent.uj' <– This is a sign that you may be infected with Wareout. I suggest printing this out.

Please download FixWareout from one of these sites:
FixWareout Subratam
FixWareout Lonny
  • Save it to your desktop and run it.
  • Click Next, then Install,
  • Then make sure "Run fixit" is checked and click Finish.
  • The fix will begin; follow the prompts.
  • You will be asked to reboot your computer; please do so.
  • Your system may take longer than usual to load; this is normal.
  • At the end of the fix, you may need to restart your computer again.
Save the contents of the logfile C:\fixwareout\report.txt and post it into your next reply.

Now lets check some settings on your system. For (2000/XP) Only)
  • Go to Start > control panel.
  • If you are using Windows XP's Category View, select the Network and Internet Connections category otherwise double click on Network Connections.
  • Then right click on your default connection, usually local area connection for cable and dsl.
  • Left click on properties.
  • Click the Networking tab.
  • Double-click on the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) item and select the radio dial that says Obtain DNS servers automatically
  • Press OK twice to get out of the properties screen and reboot if it asks.
That option might not be available on some systems
  • Next Go start> Run type cmd and hit OK
  • Type in ipconfig /flushdns then hit enter
(that space between g and / is needed)
  • Type exit hit enter

I still would like you to run Panda, so I need to see the Wareout Report, the Panda Report and a New HJT log.
heres the fixwareout log

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Hello again, :D

Just so you know, I havent forgotten about you but will be away for the weekend with limited internet access.

Reglook did not show me what I was hoping it would, Do this.

When you ran AVG Anti Spyware, you did not set it up correctly, you need to set it up to QUARANTINE everything it finds, This entry should have been removed. I would suggest running it again and post the log back into this forum.

C:\Documents and Settings\Kate\My Documents\My Received Files\Messenger Plus! - Setup.exe/70000011.exe -> Downloader.Swizzor.g : No action taken.

  • Once you have downloaded AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5, locate the icon on the desktop and double-click it to launch the set up program.
  • Once the setup is complete you will need run Ewido and update the definition files.
  • On the main screen select the icon Update then select the Update now link.
  • Next select the Start Update button, the update will start and a progress bar will show the updates being installed.
  • Once the update has completed select the Scanner icon at the top of the screen, then select the Settings tab.
  • Once in the Settings screen click on Recommended actions and then select Quarantine <– Dont forget this
  • Under Reports
  • Select Automatically generate report after every scan
  • Un-Select Only if threats were found
  • Close AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5 <– Do not run the scan yet.
Boot your computer into Safemode
  • Go to Start> Shut Off your Computer> Restart
  • As the computer starts to boot-up, Tap the F8 KEY somewhat rapidly.
  • This will bring up a menu.
  • Use the Up and Down Arrow Keys to scroll up to SAFEMODE
  • Then press the Enter on your Keyboard
IMPORTANT: Do not open any other windows or programs while ewido is scanning, it may interfere with the scanning process:
  • Launch AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5 by double-clicking the icon on your desktop.
  • Select the Scanner icon at the top and then the Scan tab then click on Complete System Scan.
  • Ewido will now begin the scanning process, be patient this may take a little time.
  • Once the scan is complete do the following:
  • If you have any infections you will prompted, then select Apply all actions
  • Next select the Reports icon at the top.
  • Select the Save report as button in the lower left hand of the screen and save it to a text file on your system
  • make sure to remember where you saved that file, this is important
  • Close AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5

Then lets do this.

Go to Start > Run > copy and past this in > Then click on OK:

regedit /e c:\output.txt "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon"

That will produce a txt file in C:\ called output (C:\output.txt)

Copy and paste it into this thread.
