Hi,

Did you run HijackThis in Normal Mode? I don't see certain entries that should be there. You had a lot of processes that you stopped from running using msconfig, and I only had you delete the ones that you stopped that were malware.

You stopped Norton/Symantec via msconfig instead of uninstalling it. That may be why you can't run another AV. So, here is where you will decide. Either reinstall your Norton/Symantec or uninstall Norton/Symantec and use another AV. Whichever AV you choose, scan your computer with it.

Also, install a software Firewall program present on your system. This will greatly help in preventing your system from being infected by malware.

Have you stopped any other processes since running combofix?

Try and run Ewido again (now AVG Anti-Spyware). Follow these instructions for running it in Normal Mode. Just remember:
Do not save the report before you have clicked the Apply all actions button. If you do, the log that is created will indicate "No action taken", making it more difficult to interpret the report. So be sure you save it only AFTER clicking the "Apply all actions?" button.

Perform an onlinescan with Panda Online. Please use this scanner instead of any other scanner! You have to use Internet Explorer for this scan.
- Once you are on the Panda site click the Scan your PC button
- A new window will open…click the Check Now button
- Enter your Country
- Enter your State/Province
- Enter your e-mail address and click send
- Select either Home User or Company
- Click the big Scan Now button
- If it wants to install an ActiveX component, allow it
- It will start downloading the files it requires for the scan (Note: It may take a couple of minutes)
- When the download is complete, click on Local Disks to start the scan
- When the scan completes, if anything malicious is detected, click the "See Report" button, then "Save Report" and save it to a convenient location.

Post back with the results of the Panda scan and a new HijackThis log (run in Normal Mode).
i uninstalled norton a long time ago but it kept running processes thats why i disabled it. its not on the program list though. and i've tried panda software before and it doesnt work. i tried to run norton the other day and my computer just completely froze. now i tried to fun dvd shrink and it did the same.
