Some programs seem to be disabled. So please open msconfig and disable the Selective Startup. You can follow these instructions:
  • click start > click run
  • in the dialog box type msconfig and click OK
  • check: normal startup and click OK
  • reboot your compter.

I still have doubts about this file:
C:\\WINDOWS\\System32\\adwytb.exe

It is easy to make a regfile and delete the key, but I would rather have you take a closer look at it.
Can you locate it, left click on properties tell me the size and the manufacturer.
If possible follow this advice:

Please download the Suspicious File Packer from here:
http://www.safer-networking.org/files/sfp.zip
Unzip it to the desktop and run it.

Paste the following bold text into the Suspicious File Packer window:

C:\\WINDOWS\\System32\\adwytb.exe

Then press the Continue button. Allow SFP to pack the file. This will generate a CAB archive on your desktop. Please email the created .cab file to LonnyATsubratam.org (replace AT with @)
Please include a link to this log, as well as your most recent HijackThis log. Thank you! :)

Post back with a new HijackThis log after you have create a normal startup like advised above :)

It still crashes…
Were you able to run Spybot and AdAware? If not, try to run it in safe mode.

I still do miss all the 02-entries so I suggest you rename the HijackThis file again to the original.

Please perform an online virus scan with F-Secure Online Scanner.

Navigate (using Internet Explorer, other browsers won't work) to the following site:
http://support.f-secure.com/enu/home/ols3.shtml
  • Click the F-Secure Online Scanner Next Generation Beta link.
  • When prompted, choose to install the software.
  • After the software has installed, click Accept.
  • Click Custom Scan and check the option for Scan inside archives, then click Start.
  • The necessary databases will then be downloaded, and the scan will then start automatically. Please be patient as this scan will take a while to complete.
  • If any infections are found then once the scan has finished the "cleaning" screen will be displayed. Choose Automatic cleaning (recommended).
  • After cleaning has finished, then the Finish screen will be displayed. Choose Show Report.
  • In order to post the report, press CTRL+A on your keyboard to highlight all the text.

Then copy and paste that information into this thread, along with a new HijackThis log. :)

The F-Secure scanner did the job
It seems that the trojans you are/were dealing with already have caused some damage.
I suggest one more scanner and afterwards a diskcheck.

Download Panda activescan

- Once you are on the Panda site click the Scan your PC button
- A new window will open…click the Check Now button
- Enter your Country
- Enter your State/Province
- Enter your e-mail address and click send
- Select either Home User or Company
- Click the big Scan Now button
- If it wants to install an ActiveX component allow it
- It will start downloading the files it requires for the scan (Note: It may take a couple of minutes)
- When download is complete, click on Local Disks to start the scan
- When the scan completes, if anything malicious is detected, click the See Report button, then Save Report and save it to a convenient location.

Go to the Run box on the Start Menu and type in:
sfc /scannow
This command will immediately initiate the Windows File Protection service to scan all protected files and verify their integrity, replacing any files with which it finds a problem. You will need your XP CD if it finds any problems.
