you are correct I am NOT john t anybody! not to be rude. The first recomendation through computer management pulled up no users anything. the second way did pull up that folder should I still delete that folder?? it is full of stuff

Close all windows and browsers.
Open HijackThis

Click on Open Misc Tools
Click on Delete a File On Reboot
Click once on the file below to select it:
C:\Program Files\Kazaa\kazaa.exe

Click on the Back button to exit Process Manager

Then see if you can delete C:\Program Files\Kazaa <–Folder

ok so on this I think I might have done a booboo— I got to the point of kazaa.exe and it said it could not find it so I backspaced to just the kazaa part and hit enter and dont ya know that it did whatever it did then it said to restart the computer I hit no clicked the back button and then did a restart. Was that bad?
ok when I took out the shortcuts I might need and went to delete it I was told it is a windows system folder and is needed for windows to work properly —the issue now might be that I dont know where these things go……..I guess I can just rename the danged thing

What folder are we talking about?
that would be the folder going to tis location :Double click My Computer> C:> Documents and Settings and delete John T. Sawyer. you said some thing like if I did not need anything from it so I went through all of the "parent" folder and found some things that might be helpful to me or things that were really for me or I did need.. I pulled the right out of there and put them on the desk top. so now I do not know where those things go. I do think I am finally rid of the kazaa!!!
I would think you could create a folder and put them in there. I wouldn't try to delete anything that windows says it's a system file or it's needed.
there is a guest folder there, an all users folder, and the john T folder. what if I moved all things into the all users folder? some of the tings I took out were the folders for my music, O&O, winamp etc and also some thing I would normally think would be on a desk top like the shortcuts. Sorry it has been a while since my last response. Also I am not sure why this has started but when I open a new window or click on some things my mouse cursor will now jump from corner to corner. What is that all about?
oh yes, I also have the ISP50 folder still and Bin etc… does that mean that last big thing you had me do did not work. I remember it did say aborted or something. this seems to be gone C:\Program Files\ISP50\BIN\PPCOLink
Do you know how to use Msconfig?

click Start> Run> type in Msconfig tap enter key.
look in the Startup. If anything is there that you know you don't want starting up, uncheck it.

After you uncheck it and rebooting, you'll be using Selective startup.
When you see the box popup that tells you that, just put a Check in the Box to not show that when you startup. That's how I run mine.

Now see if you can delete ISP50 and Bin

what if I moved all things into the all users folder?

Things like the desktop will become the desktop for all users. I don't see any reason you couldn't put everything there.

Have no idea about the mouse issue. Is it wireless with a battery?
I did as you requested and found these things there.
hpgs2wnd; RunDll32; nwiz; Nerocheck;
realplay; avg cc; all these had checks by them.
these were there but had no check by them
Kazaa; msmsgs
I unchecked these two; nero and real.
incase you need it here is a new hlt log
