I'll assume you don't use Bart Station
Kazaa is a online file sharing program

1.Click Start > Settings > Control Panel.
2.Next, open Add/Remove Programs and remove if listed:
ISP50
kazaa

Run hijackthis. Hit None of the above, Click Do a System Scan Only. Put a Check in the box on the left side on these:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Bart Station] C:\Program Files\ISP50\BIN\PPCOLink -STATION

Close ALL windows and browsers except HijackThis and click "Fix checked"

Delete this file if listed:
C:\Program Files\ISP50\BIN\PPCOLink

Delete these folders if listed:
C:\Program Files\ISP50\BIN
C:\Program Files\ISP50

Can you do a search for Kazaa and try to delete all files and folders in the Kazaa folder?

Reboot and post a new hjt log and let me know how it's running now.

the isp50 is not there; however, the kazaa is and will not go away. I think I was able to delete all files out of the program files. I need to do a full search to make sure.
The Internet Explorer script error issue seems to be gone now

The isp50 ispbak and isp50\bin will not and can not be deleted as I get it.
the thing says "can not delete BartShel.exe: access is denied
make sure the disk is not full or write- protected and that the file is not currently in use"

As for how else it is acting my mouse is bouncing around everywhere all the time. Seems to load much faster. slow to download things. might need to do another defrag. About to do service pack 2
oh my gosh! there is not enough room on this thing to "extract" files to load the service pack two. Any suggestions? I am running O&O defrag now to try but I have no idea what to do

Can't remember if I had you do this yet;

download ATF Cleaner by Atribune.
Download - ATF Cleaner»

Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Under Main choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.

(If you use FireFox or the Opera browser
To keep saved passwords, click No at the prompt.)

It's normal after running ATF cleaner that the PC will be slower to boot the first time.

Only other thing to do would be to use Add/Remove Programs and remove the ones you don't use.
for the bartshell— it is in the folder you told me to delete and looks to be people pc related C:\programfiles\ISP50\Bin C:\programfiles\ISP50\BAK C:\programfiles\ISPBAK ——inside the "Bin" is bartshell exe, iniModdll, pp shared exe, setup.ico etc… Looks like the ISPBAK has folers in it named: C:\programfiles\ISPBAK\Backup\BAKprogramFiles, common programs, quick launch, user programs, commondesktop, common start menue, etc… As for kazaa let me search it out I think I have all of it deleted now not real sure; I was able to go in and delete that folder but for what ever reason I cant seem to find it in my garbage but I think the aft cleaner cleans that
1. Please download The Avenger by Swandog46 to your Desktop.
http://swandog46.geekstogo.com/avenger.zip

Click on Avenger.zip to open the file
Extract avenger.exe to your desktop

2. Copy all the text in bold contained in the code box below to your Clipboard:

Folders to delete:
C:\programfiles\ISP50\Bin
C:\programfiles\ISP50\BAK
C:\programfiles\ISPBAK

Please make sure you COPY above and not type it!
Note: the above code was created specifically for this user. If you are not this user, do NOT follow these directions as they could damage the workings of your system.

3. Now, start The Avenger program by clicking on its icon on your desktop.
Under "Script file to execute" choose "Input Script Manually".
Now click on the Magnifying Glass icon which will open a new window titled "View/edit script"
Paste the text copied to clipboard into this window
Click Done
Now click on the Green Light to begin execution of the script
Answer "Yes" twice when prompted.

4. The Avenger will automatically do the following:
Restart your computer. ( In cases where the code to execute contains "Drivers to Unload", The Avenger will actually restart your system twice.)
On reboot, briefly open a black command window on your desktop, this is normal.
After the restart, create a log file that should open with the results of Avenger’s actions. This log file will be located at C:\avenger.txt
The Avenger will also have backed up all the files, etc., that you asked it to delete, and will have zipped them and moved the zip archives to C:\avenger\backup.zip.

5. Please copy/paste the content of avenger.txt into your reply along with a fresh HJT log by using Add/Reply
file:///C:/Program%20Files/Kazaa/Kazaa.url "C:\Program Files\Kazaa\kazaa.exe" "C:\Program Files\Kazaa\Kazaa.exe" "C:\Program Files\Kazaa\kazaa.exe" I am not sure on these but let me add all this too: C:\doc&setting\John T. Sawyer\Desktop C:\doc&setting\John T. Sawyer\Start Menu\Programs C:\doc&setting\John T. Sawyer\Start Menu\Programs\Kazaa Media Desktop (this is on here twice) C:\ProgramFiles\ISPBAK\Backup\User Desktop the last four is what I go when I did a search and the top is when I did the search rightclicked and went to properties
