win32.trojan.downloader mess

Help me, please. I just spent the entire day trying to fix my pc. I tried the following: Adaware Spybot Ewido Trojan Hunter Counter Spy These scans at various times appeared to remove the molware but after each reboot, I get it back. I really don't know what to do and am about ready to sledge hammer the entire thing. I have hijack installed. One other weird problem, I am unable to run win in safe mode. When I do the F8 thing, I get some dos lines and then nothing. I wanted to do that with the scans, particularly Ewido, but couldn't, so I ran the scan anyway. I could really use some help. Thanks.
