Hi - hoping someone can help me. I'm getting a message at startup (XP): Instruction at "0x7c9105f8" referencd memory at "0x000000010". Memory could not be "read". As soon as I started getting this, I also lost all sound, and in control panel it says there is no audio card installed, yet it appears fine in device manager. The other strange thing I noticed was 10 or so email notifications (send failures) in my inbox to people I never sent mail to, so I suspect my acct was briefly hacked.

I ran spybot, ad-aware and norton scans and fixed all issues. Here is my log:

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it. Prior to your message I had removed TCP/IP IPv6 as well as run a registry cleanup program, based on advice from a friend, and this seemed to do it. I also removed the entry you noted above. So, I seem to be in good shape for now. Appreciate the help, and I'm going to run Ewido also just to be safe..

You didn't follow my instructions

Once in the Settings screen click on Recommended actions and then select Quarantine <– Dont forget this
If you did than this would be gone.

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\WeatherBug\MiniBugTransporter.dll

Download Pocket Killbox to your desktop, unzip it to a folder that you can find

Highlight the file with the complete path inside the Quote Box and press Ctrl C on your keyboard.

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\WeatherBug\MiniBugTransporter.dll

  • Open Pocket Killbox
  • Go to File > Paste from clipboard
  • Set it to Delete on Reboot
  • Tick the box that says End Explorer shell while killing file
  • If its not greyed out..Click the radio button that say Unregister .dll before deleting.
  • Make sure Single File is selected
  • Click on the Red circle with the white X
  • It will ask you to confirm the deletion…Say yes
  • It will ask you to reboot, say yes

Everything else Ewido found were just cookies

Glad things are better,

Ken :D
Ken545, you are right I did forget that step :rant2:
But, what I also did was save the report before I applied any actions, I think that is why it says "no action taken" in the log? After I saved the report I applied all suggested actions and I think that line was one that was deleted. Will follow your instructions above though to be sure. I really appreciate your help, thanks again!
Thanks—
