cool :)

i seem to have missed one of the installers

please Start Killbox and click on Tools->Delete Temp Files.

Then select the option labeled Delete on reboot.

Copy the following, by highlighting them and then right-clicking on them and selecting 'copy':

C:\Documents and Settings\Mark\My Documents\Data\Data\all_files4.exe

Return to Killbox, go to the File menu and select Paste from Clipboard.

Still in Killbox, click the red-and-white Delete File button. Click Yes at the Delete on Reboot prompt. Click No at the Pending Operations prompt.

If your computer does not restart automatically, please restart it manually

other than that, how's your computer behaving now? is it still randomly rebooting?
ok,i did that.no i haven't had any rebooting issues yet.is that intel graphics supposed to been taken off?yesterday it was showing up in the system tray again, but i just noticed since the last reboot its gone again.
OK, i'd just like to make sure your computer is clean: please update ewido, and then reboot into safe mode by restarting your computer and continually poking F8 whilst it boots; in the menu that appears, use the up/down arrows to select 'safe mode' and hit enter. then, scan with ewido again. once the scan is complete, click on the 'save report' button, or on the 'reports' button up the top, and then 'save report as'. hopefully ewido will give you a report this time. then, reboot into safe mode and post up the ewido report and a new hijackthis log as a reply to this thread please.
Well i did the reboot in safe mode and scanned with ewido and it came back clean.I didn't think you would need to see the report, but if you do let me know. Here is the new hijack this log.

Well i did the reboot in safe mode and scanned with ewido and it came back clean.I didn't think you would need to see the report, but if you do let me know.

yes, could you post the report up please :)

also, did you uninstall AVG anti-virus?
Ok,heres the report - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - A V G A n t i - S p y w a r e - S c a n R e p o r t - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - + C r e a t e d a t : 2 : 5 9 : 0 3 P M 1 0 / 2 0 / 2 0 0 6 + S c a n r e s u l t : N o t h i n g f o u n d . : : R e p o r t e n d I know this might be a stupid question,but is the ewido and avg anti-virus the same thing? i just want to make sure i wasn't supposed to be running a different scan.No i haven't uninstalled the avg-anti virus.Should i?
 lol, i thought the report gave a bit more information that that, even when nothing was found. no, not a stupid question ;) AVG make two products – AVG-anti-spyware (which was, untill recently, called ewido, hence why i've been calling it that – sorry for any confusion), and AVG-anti-virus, which is different. you originally had AVG-anti-virus, and you installed AVG-antispyware when i asked you to at the beginning of this thread… only, AVG-antivirus isn't showing in your latest HijackThis log… i just want to check something, then i'll post up another reply :)
please download rootkit revealer, extract the files, and click on the rootkitrevealer.exe icon.

click scan, and please leave your computer alone untill the scan has finished.

once it has, please click on file > save, and save the report.

please post the report up as a reply to this thread.
Ok,so i guess i didn't realize they were 2 different programs.I did uninstall avg anti-virus when i installed the new one cus i thought the one i had already was old.
ah i see. sorry for the confusion :( in that case, no need to do the rootkit scan, i was just suspicious of the fact that AVG-antivirus had randomly dissapeared. has your computer still been behaving ok? no random reboots?
yes, you need an anti-virus: AVG-AV.

also, if you're not behind a hardware firewall (eg, a router) then you should install a software firewall, like zonealarm

theres one last file that's a bit suspicious:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SsAAD.exe] C:\DOCUME~1\Carrie\MYDOCU~1\MP3SOF~1\SsAAD.exe

it looks like sony sonic stage music manager, but it's running from an odd location – a folder starting with 'mp3sof…' in your 'my documents' folder.

did you actually install sony sonic stage music manager to that location/do you use sony sonic stage music manager?
Ok,i will download both the zone alarm and the avg.Yes i do use sony sonic stage, its for my mp3 player.I'm not sure why it would be in "my documents" though.I'm actually a little confused about that.I have it on my desktop, but the location says "my documents".How do i change that?
what you have on your desktop is probably just a shortcut to the program, which is actually saved in 'my documents'. bit of an odd place to have it installed, but no worries if it's the actual copy of sony sonic stage. is your computer ok now, or are there any other problems?
yes,it is an actual copy of sony sonic stage.I did get both of those programs downloaded and i scanned right away with the avg and it came back clean.Everything seems to be running good,no problems.Thank you so much,i really appreciate your time and help!!!!
