bassysmart :D

Your HJT log is cut off, I need to see the whole thing.

Two points while I am waiting for your log, it looks like you have both Symantec and Mcafee AV running, you should never have more than one Anti Virus program. I am not sure if your running the suites for both programs that include AV, if you are you need to unintall one program.

Your Java is out of date and leaving your system vunerable. Update your Java:
  • Go to Start > Control Panel > Add-Remove Programs.
  • Search in the list for all previous installed versions of Java. (J2SE Runtime Environment)

It should have an icon next to it:

    [external image: Posted Image]
    Select it and click Remove.
  • The current version can be downloaded from Sun here:
    http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp
Scroll down the page to 'Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 5.0 Update 8 and press the Download' button. On the new web page, click the Accept License Agreement' button.
Then select 'Windows Offline Installation, Multi-language' in the Windows Platform
area just below the Accept button.

Ooops sorry lol!

Alos updated JAVA thanks mate.
bassysmart :D Log looks good  Your Java is still showing update 6, update 8 is available. Still have two AV running, your call to remove one, if not you may experience sluggish performance and false postives and the list goes on. Are you still having any issues?? Ken :D
Hi mate. That log was done just before I updated my Java. I have been trial running Mcaffe to see if it`s any better than Norton as Norton did not alert me to the the original malware but when I tried Mcafee it warned me about it. It seems like all problems are sorted as it`s running fine now. Thanks for all the help I really appreciate your expertise.
