"Over the last couple days we have seen increased use of storing malicious code on the Google website hosting service "Google Pages". All of the sites in question are hosting code which is designed to gather information from the end-user with the intent of stealing confidential details such as bank PINS, usernames, and passwords (i.e. "Crimeware"). The sites do have some similarities as they all contain the term "cartao" in the URL. This is Portuguese for "card" and is commonly used in Brazilian malicious code attacks based on greeting card and credit card deception. Either the entire or partial use of the term "cartao" is included in either the filename, the hostname, or both.
