Thanks Anita, As you say..... "duh" Sorry we didn't catch this sooner. For my own information, which Program(s), in Zone Alarm's Program Control listing, was the culprit? And was it in the Access or Server permissions? Best Regards

Doug, I knew you would want to know... and of course, I didn't write anything down!! Overdosed on oatmeal raisin cookies yesterday... Under program control, there was a whole slew of Microsoft, MSN, and Zone (MSN Gaming Zone) processes that had X'es. For trust level they had a question mark. Under access, they had X'es or the circle with a line through it (universal kill sign). I do know that Windows login UI was one of the culprits. I didn't realize that I had messed with that section of Zone Alarm, and to be honest, don't think I did. However, it needs to be undone manually once something is done there. It might be a wise thing to look there first... I believe we can close the thread on this. Hopefully others will find it appropriate. Thanks for all your help. And thanks for turning me on to Firefox. It is a bit slower than IE, but I like the interface much better! Peace, Anita
