havent had any crashes now after a day of my comp running, but when i rebooted after the last step above i got a system config box opening on start-up asking me a range of questions i don;t really understand.
After you uncheck it and rebooting, you'll be using Selective startup. When you see the box popup that tells you that, just put a Check in the Box to not show that when you startup.
Left my comp going last night, woke up to find it rebooted. This is the windows error info. I dunno if this is any help or if you even know what it means, I dont. ;) BCCode : 100000c5 BCP1 : 00DC000A BCP2 : 00000002 BCP3 : 00000001 BCP4 : 8054A16A OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 2_0 Product : 256_1 files included in error report: C:\DOCUME~1\Turban\LOCALS~1\Temp\WERb620.dir00\Mini081806-01.dmp C:\DOCUME~1\Turban\LOCALS~1\Temp\WERb620.dir00\sysdata.xml Sorry to be such a problem!
okay done that, seems stable had it running for 4 hours since. Everything seems running fine, should i do another HJT and ewido log post?? (Will do ewido scan tonight anyway, and save log)

I got an error safe pop-up today, are they just inevitable these days? So how does it look? Again thanks for the help, dunno what i would have done!
Sorry should have described it better, it's one of thoes internet pop-up that starts with a Small window asking you if you would like you errors fixed and you press cancel and it opens a window to a program called error safe 2006, then if you close it it opens another window asking "are you sure you don't want to fix your errors" and you press no and it will try to open another pop-up but you can close it down before it asks you more questions. It is like the "system doctor" pop-ups. Oh and if you just close the windows instead of pressing no or cancel it does the same thing anyway.
Let's run SmitfraudFix again

______________________________

Open the SmitfraudFix folder and double-click smitfraudfix.cmd
Select option #1 - Search by typing 1 and press Enter

[external image: Posted Image]

This program will scan large amounts of files on your computer for known patterns so please be patient while it works. It will create a file named:
c:\rapport.txt

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run any other options until you are asked to do so!

Note : process.exe is detected by some antivirus programs (AntiVir, Dr.Web, Kaspersky) as a "RiskTool"; it is not a virus, but a program used to stop system processes. Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between "good" and "malicious" use of such programs, therefore they may alert the user.

Please post:
