Welcome to the forum :wavey:

I don't see LOP, but there are other bad things running loose…. :(

CLOSE ALL WINDOWS (even this one) AND PROGRAMS!!!!

Run Hijack This!
Click "Do a systen scan only".
Then "check" the box to the left of these item(s):

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {FDD3B846-8D59-4ffb-8758-209B6AD74ACC} - (no file)

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [PCprot] crcss.exe

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [WindowsRegKey upd4te2d4te] jowyjzwow.exe

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Microsoft Windows Update] svshost.exe

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Realplayer One] realplay.exe

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [AlcxMonitor] ALCXMNTR.EXE

O4 - HKLM\..\RunServices: [PCprot] crcss.exe

O4 - HKLM\..\RunServices: [WindowsRegKey upd4te2d4te] jowyjzwow.exe

O4 - HKLM\..\RunServices: [Microsoft Windows Update] svshost.exe

O4 - HKLM\..\RunServices: [Realplayer One] realplay.exe

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Microsoft Windows Update] svshost.exe

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [WindowsRegKey upd4te2d4te] jowyjzwow.exe

O16 - DPF: {3A7FE611-1994-4EF1-A09F-99456752289D} (WildTangent Active Launcher) - http://install.wildtangent.com/ActiveLaunc…iveLauncher.cab

Then click "Fix checked" and close Hijack This!.

Reboot in "safe" mode.

Delete all of the following noted (in red) file(s)/FOLDER(s) you can find:

C:\WINDOWS\System32\crcss.exe <— file

C:\WINDOWS\System32\jowyjzwow.exe <— file

C:\WINDOWS\System32\realplay.exe <— file

C:\WINDOWS\System32\svshost.exe <— file

USE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN REMOVING THESE FILES!!!

Some are named similarly to necessary and valid windows applications.

Be sure the files you delete match the names I've posted EXACTLY!!!

If you can't find them, that's OK.

Some malware files may be "hidden".
Be sure to show hidden files when looking for these file(s) and/or folder(s).

Reboot in normal mode and "copy/paste" a new HijackThis! log file into this thread. :)
Thanks for the advice, have taken the action you suggest, although would not let me delete crcss.exe. Here is the new HT log…
