Hello and welcome to the forum.

Sorry about the delay in responding :(

Important: Do this before any fix.

Please put your HijackThis in it's own folder, (I create a new folder in C:\ named HJT).
You can do a Right Click on any open area on the desktop, New> Folder, then rename the folder HJT.

Go to where your HijackThis is and Right Click on HijackThis.exe, select Cut, then open the new folder you just created (HJT) Right Click in the folder and select paste.

The reason we do this is Hijackthis creates backup files just in case you'd need to restore one and we'll be cleaning out the temp files.

If you still need help, Scan again with HijackThis, and copy/paste" a new log file into this thread.

It's still in a temp folder. I will give you a link to download again when you lose it.

1.Click HERE to download O15Fix.zip. Extract O15Fix.reg from the zip file and save it to the desktop. When done, double click the O15Fix.reg and when asked to merge say yes.


2. Please download Qoofix by RubbeR DuckY from one of the following locations:

http://www.malwarebytes.org/Qoofix.zip or
http://www.besttechie.net/tools/Qoofix.zip
  • Unzip all files to a convenient location such as C:\Qoofix.
  • Go to the folder you unzipped all files and run Qoofix.exe.
  • Click Begin Removal and wait for the scan to finish.
  • If an infection has been found, select yes to restart your computer.

3. Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune.

Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Under Main choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.


(If you use FireFox or the Opera browser
To keep saved passwords, click No at the prompt.)

It's normal after running ATF cleaner that the PC will be slower to boot the first time.


you can get a complete installer that installs HijackThis to C:\Program Files\HijackThis, making an entry in the start menu and also providing a desktop shortcut from http://www.thespykiller.co.uk/files/HJTsetup.exe .

Click on the link and select Save, save it to your desktop and double click HJTsetup.exe.

Open HijackThis and select: Do a system scan and save a log file.

When the scan is finished, Click Edit> Select All> Edit> Copy> and paste its contents here and the contents of the Qoofix logfile. Please use the [Add Reply] button below.

I'm so sorry its taking me long to reply but the computer I'm working on is not my own. I really want to get this computer working for my friends kids who are in highschool and need their computer for school projects. It seems to be getting worse. The computer is now infested with ewido and bravesentry. It freezes up and has many popups reading, "your computer is in Danger". Thank you so much for your help and patience.

You or someone else needs to be at the PC in order to get this cleaned.
1. The top part of the HJT log (running process) is missing.
2. ewido and bravesentry are anti-spyware programs.

Yes, I'm going to they're house. I am unable to delete bravesentry and these two programs along with Mcafee are causing alot of the popups. I will try again to get the running processes.
