Hello LDTate. Thank you for your response. Here is a re-run of my HJT log. I was getting an alert from my Mcafee that a virus had been detected and deleted (sorry I can not remember what it was I had it written down but I can not find it now java script:emoticon('', 'smid_2') ). At that time I was using IE6.x for browsing. I since have been using Firefox on the advise from IT at my work because he said it is safer than IE.? Since then I have not gotten that pop-up from Mcafee running Firefox until (but not on every occasion) I have to use IE (some things will not work with Firefox which I am sure you know). My computer does seen to take a long time to start up now and I am not sure if there is something malicious causing this or not. My main concern though that I my have some virus, spyware etc… is that this past week I had unauthorized activity on my Ebay account where someone listed items for sale and sold them under my Ebay name somehow. I just today seem to have gotten things cleared up with that but I am wondering how it happened. Could there be something bad installed on my computer??? I hope there is not but it makes me wonder now. I do have spyware guard, blaster, spybot s&d and ad-aware installed on my computer. I had not been running them probably as regular as I should but I did this week and they came up with a few things that got taken care of (i hope). The one thing though is it seems spybot s&d always picks up Wild Tangent. This is nothing bad, right??? I thought it was used for things on the computer so I did not check that one to be removed. Should I?? I hope this gives you a better idea on my situation. Thank you again for your time spent on this.

Ok I did everything as you suggested. Now when you said to "delete these files if listed" ALCMTR.EXE
C:\WINDOWS\system32\febdxdjl.exe I did a search on my computer to try and find them. I hope that was right thing to do. It came up with 3 different locations for the ALCMTR.exe file so I found and deleted all of them. As I was searching for C:\WINDOWS\system32\febdxdjl.exe my Mcafee popped up and to me that febdxdjl.exe trojon was found and cleaned. I am not sure what is going on with that if it is still on the computer or not. After the computer finished searching for that file it came up with no results. After re-running HJT I see that one thing you told me too (and I did) check the box and fix is still there…. O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [TkBellExe] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\Update_OB\realsched.exe" -osboot. As far as how my computer behaves now, it seems to be ok… nothing really to note of any significance… my major concern was as I said in earlier posts about someone using my ebay account to sell things and the possibility of maybe a keylogger or something installed on my system to get my id's and passwords?!?! Ok.. let me know the next step's if any.

Ok so I ran Spysweeper and a new HJT log. When I updated the definitions before starting the sweep it took a while for it to complete the update. Also, after it was done and I tried to get on the internet to post the new logs, I could not even load Firefox to get on the internet. It was like my system was hanging. I even tried to load IE but with the same result. Now the only difference here is the installation of Spysweeper. So I uninstaleed Spysweeper and re-booted and NO more problems getting on the internet. Why would that be?? Any ideas? I do have an old version of spysweeper on disk but if I remember correcty, I was having similar problems with my system hanging with it installed. Also I think there were conflicts with the version I had and Mcafee so I chose Mcafee. I don't know whats up here because it looks like Spysweeper found nothing either.

Ok I finished and here are the new logs. Also now my Mcafee is popping up windows every 20 secs or so saying that "some components may not be installed or launched properly, restart or reinstall etc…" and Active shied pops up with a similar message.
