This could be a bad connection from your ISP. Have you checked with them to see if they are having problems?

Hi LDTate, no, I havn't checked with my provider. The service has been great for years. I would be more inclined to "blame" it on spyware. malware, etc. but don't know for sure. Did you have an oportumuty to review my last scan from two nights ago? I don't seem to be having any issues right at the moment but that seems to change minute by minute. Thanks.

Your last scan only showed a couple items in Restore which we'll clean out when everything is clean. If I were you, I'd run spysweeper until it only finds cookies and/or temp files.

I see that all the time. I don't think it's anything to worry about.

The last scan looked good. How's it running?

Really nice right now...still a little cautious though. That yellow banner like thing that said something like "this site may be a scam". is not there anymore either. Did we kill everything or is there more to do???

Good Job

Log looks good :D

Double-click My Computer.
Click the Tools menu, and then click Folder Options.
Click the View tab.
Check "Hide file extensions for known file types."
Under the "Hidden files" folder, Uncheck "Show hidden files and folders."
Check "Hide protected operating system files."
Click Apply, and then click OK.

If you dont have these programs I would recommend that you get them. Spywareblaster, Spywareguard. They will add 1000's of sites to your resticted zone and block some hijacks from happening. I also have a FREE FIREWALL and FREE ANTI VIRUS if you need one.

It is critical to have both a firewall and anti virus to protect your system.

Keep your system up to date and run Adaware & Spybot, once a week works, and hopefully you will be ok from here on. Both are available below.

Safe Surfing. :D

I would also suggest you read this:
So how did I get infected in the first place?
