[butterfly25]

after runing ad-aware and spybot. I did get rid of 36 bad things. but When I first startup my pc I get the message
" RUNDLL ERROR LOADING c:/Progra~1/mywebs~1/bar/2.bin/MWSBAR.DLL "

Welcome to the forum

Go to:

Start --> Control Panel --> Add/Remove Programs

See if My Web Search is listed in there.

If so, remove it, reboot and post a new HijackThis! log into this thread.

If it's not listed there, we can "take it out the 'hard' way".

This program:

Has a "dubious" reputation.

I suggest removing it as well.

Run Hijack This!
Click "Do a systen scan only".
Then "check" the box to the left of these item(s):

When you update, you have to remove previous Java versions via "Add/Remove Programs"

I fixed those four. on the folder. I get the message "does not exist" I did a folder/file search for C:\PROGRAM FILES\MY WEB SEARCH <-- FOLDER

Copy the text in the following quote box into Notepad:

cd c:\program files
dir my*.* /ad > files.txt
notepad files.txt

Save it to your desktop as ff.bat.

CLOSE NOTEPAD.

Now, <double-click> the ff.bat file on the desktop. A Notepad window will open up.

Please paste it's contents into your next post.

I GOT IT!!! Volume in drive C has no label. Volume Serial Number is 0080-2C04 Directory of C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Desktop

YES! it is gone now since the reboot.
I also uninstalled the Java I had and reinstalled the version you said was up to date.

Let's check one thing.

Run HijackThis!

Click the "Open the Misc Tools Section" Button.

Click the "Open Uninstall Manager" Button.

Click the "Save list..." Button.

Save it to your desktop. Copy and paste the contents of that file into your next reply.
