Slow pc, IE6 freezing

Greetings forum.

My pc has been running slower than normal lately(Word, windows explorer, etc). Also, internet explorer freezes on me (mostly when I have 3 or more IE's open). The "freezing" happens when I click on a link or try to open another session. I have to close them ALL down to continue… losing any sites I was on. It's frustrating having to go into 'history' to find what sites I was on, and open them.

I don't know exactly when it started, but it HAS been going on for at least 6 months. I upgraded my memory, thinking that that could've solved the problem… no luck.

At any rate here is my log:

Thanks to any/all in advance.
hitpro,

Welcome to Tom Coyote, sorry about the delay but we are up to our ears in logs.

Your HJT version is very outdated and not showing me the whole picture. What I would like you to do is go to where you have HJT now and delete it.

C:\Program Files\Tom Coyote\HijackThis.exe <– Delete it.

Then use the link in my signature at the bottom of the page and download and install version 1.99.1 , it will by default install in C:\Program Files\Hijackthis

Then post a new log please and I would be happy to look at it for you.
Sorry it took so long to repost. Will this do?

Thanks for replying. Yes, I'm running Norton's, but it has expired recently. It expired AFTER I began having problems, if that means anything.
Running both will cause all types of problems.

Solution: In order to completely uninstall Symantec AntiVirus and all related components you need to follow these instructions.
Note: This procedure will remove all Symantec products, not just Symantec AntiVirus.

1.Click on Start | Settings | Control Panel
2.In the control panel double-click on Add / Remove Programs
3.Look through the list of installed programs for any item that says either "Norton" or "Symantec" or "LiveUpdate". (for example "Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition" or "Norton AntiVirus 2000")
4.For each "Norton", "Symantec", or "LiveUpdate" item, select the item and click Add / Remove. Follow the instructions, and click Yes or Yes to all when prompted.
When you are done there should be no items in the list that say "Norton", "Symantec", or "LiveUpdate".
5.Click OK to close the Add / Remove Programs window.
6.Reboot your computer if it hasn't already automatically rebooted.
7.Delete the c:\Program Files\Symantec AntiVirus (or c:\Program Files\Norton) folder.
8.Delete the c:\Program Files\Symantec folder.
9.Delete the c:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared folder.

If uninstalling Symantec AntiVirus using Add / Remove Programs does not work, you can use the directions on this Symantec website to manually remove all elements of Symantec Antivirus from your computer.

Sorry, had to step out. If I uninstall Norton's, won't I be totally unprotected? Right now I at least have Norton's to protect me of any old threats, but if I uninstall it completely, won't I be vunerable to ALL threats? Incidently, I had Mcaffe a while ago, but I uninstalled that… or at least I thought I got all of it. It seems as if I didn't, huh? I also want to add I've been getting the "dumprep.exe" file lately when I freeze. I understand it's part of MS but it has been known to cause problems? True? Anyway, so you say to uninstall Norton's?
Lets do this before we do anything else. It's free.

Click the HERE and Save, Install, Update and run a full scan.

At the moment whenever I'm surfing at no particular moment my web pages will freeze. It happens mostly when I have at least 2 IE open and I click a link. When I do that no new page appears, and the old page freezes up. Additionally, any other pages I have open also freezes. I try to close the windows with the "X"; using "file..close"; and right-clicking and choosing close. All to no avail. So I go to Task manager to close them and I do but they don't close until I terminate the "dumprep.exe" file. Once I do that they close. Then I open up new windows and try to find where I was in the "history" pane.
OK. Now do this.

After the above Reboot and post a new HJT log.
Here it is:
