Increasing amount of pop-up? I can't figure this one out!

i have NEVER had a problem before removing spyware, malware, trojans…you name it. but this time, i am baffled as to why i am getting these pop-ups that won't stop no matter what i use to scan and clean my system. I NEED HELP!

my machine is running on win xp pro with sp2 installed. i have been using spysweeper, ad-aware and sybot regularly for a long time to run spyware checks and scans. i have avg anti-virus as my current virus detection application.

pop-ups occur when i am viewing web sites as well as when i click on a link and a new site loads. they usually start out as a warning message that "my system is vulnerable" and when i close those they load a site and sometimes resize my windows.

hopefully my hijack this log file will shed some light on things. any and all help is greatly appreciated.

thank you for your reply. i realize all the admins must get quite busy with requests and providing support. below you will find a new hjt scan log. i look forward to your reply and thank you ahead of time for your help and direction in resolving my problem.

my machine is behaving as per the following…

- random pop-ups appear as a "security warning" directing me to a web site to conduct a scan. when closed, i'm linked to another site that again offers a security scan service. when i close the second window another browser window opens minimized to another security scan site or it will hijack any of my open browsers and minimize them as well then linking to the same security scan site.

- pop-ups are also triggered when i'm opening a new browser window, which then causes the above paragraph description to occur.

- my machine has been extremely slow to load on start up taking 3 times normal to even get to the boot screen. it's so slow i originally thought it was freezing on me due to lack of activity.

- it seems as though i have way too many running processes and need some assistance as to which ones i can terminate.
