Ok so my son I believe somehow infected me the other day while playing a game. I started out with the above issues and muon.html issues. SInce then I have repaired the muon probelms (I think, they arent showing up anymore) but the other popups are still occuring about 70% of the time when I boot up.. within 10 minutes of boot.

I've ran L2M, Look2Me-destroyer, vundofix, virtumundo, and several other but probably not to the extent that I should have because I've never utilized the programs before.

So here my HJT log please lemme know if you need anything else posted. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the reply.

Currently the computer has been hiccuping off and on.. Sometimes I'll boot up and have no issues at all other times (like this morning) it will be very slow and sluggish and not want to do anything at all. As for the Winfixer/sysprotect etc popups those still occur about every 3rd time I start up internet explorer usually, but sometimes they wont pop up for several hours.

The avg scan found 13 trojans infections and cleaned them all according to the message.

here is the new HJT log

Download FindQoologic.zip save it to your C:\.
http://downloads.subratam.org/Lon/FindQool.zip

Extract (unzip) the files inside into their own folder called FindQool.
Read here how to unzip/extract properly:
http://metallica.geekstogo.com/xpcompressedexplanation.html

This folder should be present on your C:\
In case it's not present there, move the FindQool folder to C:\ otherwise it won't work.
Then open the FindQool folder.
Locate and double-click the Qlocate.bat file to run it.

This will scan your system.
Wait until a text opens.
Post this in your next reply

Download Pocket Killbox version 2.0.0.175
http://www.atribune.org/downloads/KillBox.exe
If you already have Killbox first ensure it is this version !.

Then double-click on the killbox.exe program.

At the main screen of KillBox, select the option: Delete on Reboot
Then, in the Full Path of File to Delete box copy/paste the following entry:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\kjgwnml.exe

Press the button with a red circle and a white X (Delete File button)
KillBox will alert you: All listed files will be deleted on next Reboot
Click Yes
Next prompt will be: Files will be removed on reboot. Do you want to reboot now?
Select yes

Post a new HJT log
I did as specified with killbox. After doing the countdown to reboot it would give me a popup message that said "PendingFileRenameOperation Registry Data has been removed by External Process" with a ok button. After clicking ok the comp didnt auto-reboot.

So I went ahead and manually rebooted and heres the new HJT

On the Windows XP taskbar:
Click Start > Control Panel.
In the Control Panel window, double-click Add or Remove Programs.

Click E2give Plug-in.

Note: You may need to use the scroll bar to view the whole list.

Click Add/Remove, Change/Remove, or Remove (this varies with the operating system). Follow the prompts

Backup your Registry…
- Press "CTRL - ALT - DEL" keys all at the same time to start "Task Manager"
- In the Task Manager window click on "File", then from the drop-down menu select "New Task (Run…)"
- In the "Create New Task" window enter\type "regedit" (without quotes)
- Once Regedit opens click on the FILE menu and select Export
- Save the file as backup. Save the file somewhere you will remember and not delete.
IMPORTANT: make sure to set the export range to ALL

Click "Start"> "Run"> type in Regedit tap Enter Key

Make sure "My Computer" is highlighted

Click "Edit"> "Find"
Type in IeBHOs tap Enter Key.
Right Click on the file if found and select "Delete"

Tap the "F3" Key to find the next entry of the file. Continue using the "F3" Key until it's finished searching.

Do the same for these:
E2G
iniwin32.dll

Close Regedit.

Empty Recycle Bin

Reboot and "copy/paste" a new HijackThis log file into this thread.
Also please describe how your computer behaves at the moment.
ok.. there was no E2give plug in listed in add/remove programs. I found several of each of the registry listings you mentioned to search for and delete. All were deleted except for any that had .control or .control.1. These were all IeBhos (ex: IeBHOs.Control and IeBHOs.Control.1)

The rest of the stuff deleted fine but when I rescanned to make sure I got everything the E2G items kept coming back. Didnt know if that was because I hadnt exited after first deletion or if they were being replaced.

I also found the e2g folder in my program files directory and killbox'd the iniwin32.dll and rebooted then deleted the e2g folder completely and cleared the recycle bin

Anyways heres the new HJT
