I'm new to all this... trying to get rid of whatever was loaded onto my laptop about 4+ hours ago.

When I turn on computer, I'm getting various error messages similar to "vxh8jkdq7.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows." I finally figured out how to run hijackthis, and here's a copy of the log. I hope I did it correctly.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

No help needed! I fixed it using adaware second edition - thanks to some other postings on your site. Thank you for all the helpful info on this site. Yipee, my computer works normally again! :-))))
