Well, First off, I was working on a buddy's comp and Trend Micro found an instance (30 infections) of the swizzor. I am wondering if there is a good one-click remover that REALLY works… as Trend Micro is not able to remove it.
Second, I have this problem on my home comp, a program that is identified as (n/a) [no identification available] is CONSTANTLY trying to connect to My Provider's server From my bootpc port, to their bootps.
When I say constant, I mean like 4-5 min at a time, with a 2-3 sec pause, then try again.
When I let it do its thing, i cannot access the internet, and it causes my comp to freeze. When I block it, it works fine.
Ran a HJT scan and found nothing (just re-installed windows, figured nothing would show up) But now, since I have re-installed windows, I find this in my TaskManager:
inetinfo.exe
When i turn that off, i get
iireset.exe
-and-
iisrstas.exe
Then inetinfo turns back on, and iireset goes off, iisrstas stays on for like a min or so, then exits.
These were not here before. Where did they come from??
