Hello lordmuck, welcome to the TC forum. I don't see anything bad in your log. We can run a couple cleaning programs and see if that will help.
thanks LDTate, for the advise. I managed to get the welcome screen wait (loading my personal settings) from 5 mins down to 2 1/2 mins. perhaps I have to much running during startup. any suggestions?
Please download System Security Suite. Extract it from the zip file into a folder.
here.

Run 3S under “Items To Clear” tab place a checkmark in all of them but the last.

Reboot
Also please describe how your computer behaves now.
thanks again LDTate, these are the steps I took. I ran ss as you sugested and restarted my computer the welcome sceen took only 5sec…did a 2nd restart took 1min,a 3rd took 5sec..preformed a system shutdown welcome screen took 3min. I then remembered that prior to having the long welcome screen I had installed microsoft code name Max. I uninstalled this program ran winASO to clean the registry and preformed another complete shutdown welcome screen took 5sec, shutdown again welcome screen lasted 5sec…. I believe that it was probaly microsofts MAX that was causing the long welcome screen, however if I experience any further delays I'll post again THANKS AGAIN
