if anyone could tell me if there is anything amiss here as i'm having trouble removing smit fraud ,

Hi John and welcome to TomCoyote forum. One thing I can tell you is that if Smitraud us not removed properly, there can be problems. I am going to point you at a self-help tutorial. You have the tools now with the exception of SmitRem. If you have smitRem onboard, delete it and download it fresh. The hackers are changing this junk so fast this is necessary. Let me say three more things for your benefit.

1) Move HJT from the Desktop for safety. I prefer C:\HJT\HijackThis.exe, if you need additional instructions use these: http://russelltexas....tehjtfolder.htm

2) With ewido and Spysweeper running they are using some resources, if you are experiencing slowdowns, it is not to be surprised until that is adjusted once you are clean.

3) I see some junk that should not be in you log, but no "malware".

4) Here is your link, use the fix and then post the logs suggested in this thread and I will be notified when you post and see how things are then as soon as possible.

System Restore does not know good from bad, it backs up everything. In case some of the infection got into your System Restore files, follow the instructions in this link to get clean System Restore files. Turn it off, restart your computer and turn it back on.
