Note: It did bring back my yahoo.com homepage in IE. Since downloading Firefox I haven't had a problem with the home page but things have been a little buggy - like the trend-micro thing. System seems to be running better though with the last few moves!

Download ATF Cleaner:
http://www.atribune....tent/view/19/2/
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Under Main choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.

When done a prompt appears informing of such.

(If you use FireFox or the Opera browser
To keep saved passwords, click No at the prompt.)

Almost there

Please download WebRoot SpySweeper from HERE >>> http://www.webroot.c...ode=af1&rc=3597 (It's a 2 week trial):
Click the Free Trial link under to "SpySweeper" to download the program.
Install it. Once the program is installed, it will open.
It will prompt you to update to the latest definitions, click Yes.
Once the definitions are installed, click Options on the left side.
Click the Sweep Options tab.
Under What to Sweep please put a check next to the following:
Sweep Memory
Sweep Registry
Sweep Cookies
Sweep All User Accounts
Enable Direct Disk Sweeping
Sweep Contents of Compressed Files
Sweep for Rootkits
Please UNCHECK Do not Sweep System Restore Folder.
Click Sweep Now on the left side.
Click the Start button.
When it's done scanning, click the Next button.
Make sure everything has a check next to it, then click the Next button.
It will remove all of the items found.
Click Session Log in the upper right corner, copy everything in that window.
Click the Summary tab and click Finish.
Paste the contents of the session log you copied into your next reply as well as a new hijackthsi log please.

I think one of my daughters may have on IE. I have removed it from the trusted sites and am including another log to make sure it is off.

You can have hijackthis remove this line unless you put it there. R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Window Title = FLYIN HIGH How is it running?

Everything seems to be running well. The original problem of the home page is gone. Some of the buggy things earlier have stopped. I'm back to the original processes running and the mem usuage is back to normal. I have to say it appears to be back on track and I must say I prefer not using IE! I use Opera at work but my daughters didn't like it so we used IE. They are fine with Firefox. Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it!
