I followed some advice that was offered to NormanB (not specific to his computer) and ran updated Spybot and Ad-Aware. Then I downloaded ewido and ran it in safe mode. It appears to have fixed my problem of constantly redirected web addresses. I hope I won't be back here, but it seems that everyone ends up here eventually, desperate for help. So don't bother with my Hijack this log. Thanks for the website. Michelle
