ok back with some great news....and some not great new also.
start was very quick...either it was the ewido,the trend micro, or the accelerator causing the problem. i think it was the accellerator. I could now access the net through IE within 3 minutes of startup.
that not so great news was that i couldnt get to all sites including this one...ebay,yahoo.pogo and such come up quick...this message board got a could not find server and o did the other message board i frequent....the wierd thing was that the page that did come up, came up very quick and page to page navigation was the same.....but couldnt get this site up...or an ezboard site that i own....
ok...next...I started accelerator manually and watched the performance meter and when started the meter went straight to 100% memory usage for 10 minutes...when the accellerator icon came into the i was able to access all sites...my connect speed was very high as usual even before accelerator started. 52kbp.
any suggestions would still be helpful even though i think we are getting close to the end of what you can help me with..lol... i think it might just be a program glitch with the accellerator...or i just have dont have enough memory to operate it properly....hmmm....i seen a post in the computer suggestions and tips catagory about memory...you think i should try that??

ok rebooted...came up quick...under three minutes for everything to load...i connected at 52kbp and seemed to be able to reach every site just fine without accelerator. here's another log..
BTW....thst regseeker site now has a program that fixes the add/remove program problem if you have a problem after a cleaning.... just wanted you to know in case you wanted to update your Instructions.

I thought i did already with one of the other programs i found on your site...i think its called "start up control center" or something like that...i found it in the TIPS catagory and it has its own thread called STARTUP...
I need to keep the accellerator program...i just dont want it to start up on reboot...like i said i thought it was out already cause i took it off the list with that startup control center program...and it hasnt come up the last 2 times i rebooted.
Please inform.

How is it running any issues?Note: This will remove all previous Restore Points
Turn off System Restore:
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.
Restart your computer, turn it back on.
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
Remove the Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.
Click Start> My Computer, select the Tools menu and then Folder Options, after the new window appears select the View tab…]
This time select the: Restore Defaults
Select: Apply, and click OK
If you dont have these three programs I would recommend that you get them. Spywareblaster, Spywareguard and IESPY AD. They will add 1000's of sites to your resticted zone and block some hijacks from happening. I also have a FREE FIREWALL and FREE ANTI VIRUS if you need one.
It is critical to have both a firewall and anti virus to protect your system.
Keep your system up to date and run Adaware & Spybot, once a week works, and hopefully you will be ok from here on. Both are available below.

shoot, i dont know how to thank you...ill try getting a donation in and I see that you are a CLASSROOM TEACHER....the last week i been browsing your board I have seen you have a school to teach people to decipher the log and make suggestions to those in need. Can you tell me a little more about being a student of this...I've thrown away too many computers in the past because of this kind of problem and i'd also like to help out here, just like i was helped.
