Close all programs leaving only HijackThis running. Place a check against each of the following,

Right clicking on My Computer, selecting Properties and then the Advanced tab. Click on the Settings button in 'Startup and Recovery'. In the bottom pane - under 'Write debugging information' - click on the down arrow and then select 'None'

It runs without pop-ups only if I don't use eMule. I'll probably switch to BitComet and see if it runs without pop-ups. The article looks very interesting, a bit long though. I'll get on it as soon as i can. Thanks 4 d help!
