I don't see anything else that's bad. Is it still running slow? Is it just slow on startup?

Lets look at what's in the startup. click Start> Run> type in Msconfig tap enter key. look in the Startup. List everything there and point out which ones have a check next to it.

I did look at that. I unchecked everything except the system tray and the 4 McAfee items and it didn't help? It seams to work ok at first then it just gets slower and slower. The mouse drags and dosen't respond when you first move it then after a few seconds it moves the mouse, just hanging up alot. Opening programs or folders is slow but running programs is fast. I ran RegSeeker again last night untill it came up blank and that helped some. I also ran defrag and clean disk again too. One thing I found strange is that when I look in the add and remove programs list I don't see McAfee in there. I just installed it the other night and I was going to remove the firewall part to see if that was causing it to hang up because it is a large program, but when I go there to remove it, it is not there??

Yea I just bought it last week. It is VirusScan 2006 10.0 and Personal Firewall Plus 2006 7.0. I have a fish tank screen saver and the fish are swimming very very slow.

I would first disconnect from the internet and uninstall McAfee and see if that's causing the problem. Look in the McAfee folder for vsXXXrem.exe. The x's are the version. If you double click that, it should allow you to uninstall it. At least it did on older versions, it would put a file on the desktop to run the uninstall.
