I have posted three times on here in the last two days. I really need help. I will make a dotation if someone will help me. My main computer is a winxp and it is infected with the pop up buble on left saying System Instrusion Deteced. Now last night this SpyWareSwiker installed it's self to my computer. Last night I took this computer off line and went to my backup computer win98se and found that it is infected worse than this one. It is so slow it takes about 3 mins to do only one click on amythnig. I am afraid I will have to reformat the hard drive to get it to work properly. Is there anything anyone can tell me to help me get these two computers working? I read another post and I do have a file called netwrapp.dll? I have posted my logs here with no responce. Thanks

Ok I think I have this thing licked on my XP computer. I read and followed what you told someone else to do and it worked far as I can tell. I deleted the file netwrapp.dll and uninstalled SpyWareSriker and deleted the temp files and here is my new log/ I also need help with the other computer. I will have to put HJK on a disk and run it on the other computer. I don't even know what is wrong with that thing. Was ok till yesterday. Now runs like a snal. Here is the latest HJK log.

Hello debb4him, welcome to the TC.

I suggest you do this:

Download this file from the link to your desktop.
http://www.mvps.org/.../DelDomains.inf

Right-click on the deldomains.inf file and select 'Install'

Once it is finished your Zones should be reset.

Note, if you use SpywareBlaster and/or IE/Spyads, it will be necessary to re-install the protection both afford. For SpywareBlaster, run the program and re-protect all items. For IE/Spyads, run the batch file and reinstall the protection

open notepad and copy and paste next bold in it:
(do not forget to copy and paste REGEDIT4 in it!)

REGEDIT4

[-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\CLSID\{C1A2FDA2-1A5B-2A8F-F3A2-B22DA1A3C41D}]

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\SharedTaskScheduler]
"{C1A2FDA2-1A5B-2A8F-F3A2-B22DA1A3C41D}"=-

Save this as fix.reg , choose to save as *all files and place it on your desktop.

Doubleclick on fix.reg you made before and when it asks you if you want to add the contents to the registry, click yes/ok

Run hijackthis. Hit None of the above, Click Do a System Scan Only. Put a Check in the box on the left side on these:

R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing
O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {159C2E51-9823-11D2-8DDC-D84A1B4ACD4D} - (no file)

O15 - Trusted Zone: http://*.winfixer.com
O15 - Trusted Zone: http://*.winnanny.com
O15 - Trusted Zone: http://*.winsoftware.com

Close ALL windows and browsers except HijackThis and click "Fix checked"

1. Open My Computer
2. Right click on your hard drive that you wish to clean (C drive, for example)
3. In the context menu that opens, select properties
4. Under the general tab you should select Disk Cleanup
5. Windows will scan your drive which will take a few seconds/minutes
6. A box will display the various files you can remove.
Check all boxes except compress old files (If listed)
7. Click OK and windows will comply.

Restart your computer.

Reboot and "copy/paste" a new log file into this thread.
Also please describe how your computer behaves at the moment.

lets see if this will help.

Backup your Registry...
- Press "CTRL - ALT - DEL" keys all at the same time to start "Task Manager"
- In the Task Manager window click on "File", then from the drop-down menu select "New Task (Run...)"
- In the "Create New Task" window enter\type "regedit" (without quotes)
- Once Regedit opens click on the FILE menu and select Export
- Save the file as backup. Save the file somewhere you will remember and not delete.
IMPORTANT: make sure to set the export range to ALL

I recommend you download RegSeeker. Extract it to it's own folder, open and double click RegSeeker.exe to start the program. Maximize the window and click clean registry. Check all sections and click OK. When the scan is complete, verify the backup box in lower left corner is checked and click the select all button, then select all again. Then right click within the search results and select delete. Run it again and again, deleting everything it finds until it finds nothing. Reboot and make sure your programs are working properly, control panel and add/remove programs windows open, etc (basically just do a quick check of everything). In the event anything was 'broken', you can open RegSeeker, click backups and double click any/all files to put the information back. A reboot may be required for the effects to be seen. Reboot When done.

OK that looks like it is good for this computer. Now for the other one. It has win98se and just started hanging up and running slow last night. I ran McAfee and V-com virus scans on it. I also ran a v-com fix-it utilitie and clean disk. I don't know what to do next. I was going to run defrag but that will take so long to run. I don't know if it has a virus or worm or what. I know the hard drive was getting full but it has over a GB of free sapce left on the hard drive. I did uninstall lots of programs we don't use anymore to free up space. What do you suggest? Thanks

Hanging up badley on start up takings 12 mins to start up with the mouse pointer hanging up even the clock is hanging up then it jumps about 3 or 4 mins and slowley loads system tray. Took 8 mins to open Netscape browser window (I have fast cable connection, no dial up). Opening programs and folders or files is very very slow but when they are open they run fast. When I was running the virus scan programs it would take several mins to open then when it was scanning it ran fast? It seams worse now than a couple hours ago? I am on the other computer I will send the log in next message.
