Scan with hijackthis and remove these lines.

In regards to the 018 lines they are or your logitech auto updates, you can disable this. I like to go get my updates as opposed to my system calling out.

If you dont have these three programs I would recommend that you get them. Spywareblaster, Spywareguard and IESPY AD. They will add 1000's of sites to your resticted zone and block some hijacks from happening. In my signature below is also a tutorial on how to harden IE, a good read and very helpful to stop these things in the future. I also have a FREE FIREWALL and FREE ANTI VIRUS if you need one.

It is critical to have both a firewall and anti virus to protect your system.

Keep your system up to date and run Adaware & Spybot, once a week works, and hopefully you will be ok from here on.

Keep ewido as it is free, you will not have the real time protection as that expires after 30 days but the scanner and upding stays active.

Please post one last hijackthis log please.

Hi,

We updated the hjt as you suggested. I think we'll spring the few bux and get the ewido registered. I currently have the windows xp firewall disabled. Maybe I should enable this, or get Nortons interenet security. This offers firewall protection too. I have heard of zone alarm. Not sure which is more effective, Norton’s internet security or zone alarm.

I have listed my hjt log below for your review. I must say, you have went beyond and above on your assistance with my pc troubles. You were very thorough and help full. This has been very enlightening, and a learning experience. I am making a donation as a token of my appreciation.

Thank you so much!

Hi, Everything is running great, no more nav trojan alerts. :D The system seems to be responding more efficiently now too. Only issue I see is when I do a map search on yahoo. I use to use this service a bit for driving directions. I input the starting address and the destination address and click "get address"button. It attemps to load up the direction page results but never fully loads this page. It use to, not any more. You think the yahoo entries that we deleted in hjt had anything to do with this? Not a real big deal. I can live with it. There's allways map quest. Allthough yahoo driving map search was our favorite.
