Hi mastereisele,

Welcome to TomCoyote Forums. Please close your browser, run HijackThis and CLOSE ALL WINDOWS EXCEPT THE ONE IT'S RUNNING IN. Put a check at the left side of ONLY the following items, and click on FIX CHECKED.

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [RDLL] RunDll16.exe

(If you KNOW what this is and WANT it, leave it; otherwise, DELETE it.)
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [NVCLOCK] Rundll32 nvclock.dll,fnNvclock

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [nForce Tray Options] sstray.exe /r

O4 - HKLM\..\RunServices: [RDLL] RunDll16.exe

When HJT finishes, reboot into SAFE MODE (tap F8 after your BIOS loads, or use whatever other procedure your computer requires), search for the file "Rundll16.exe" and DELETE it if you find it.

REBOOT your computer in Normal Mode and post a fresh log se we can see what further cleanup may be necessary. Also, tell us whether your computer is still behaving strangely, and if it is, tell us what it's doing. That will help us help you.
Here's the latest log file. I couldn't find the rundll16.exe. It seemed to worh though. I ran adaware 60 withth e latest config file. No more tracking cookies.

Hi mastereisele,

Well, it looks good to me, but as I'm still a trainee I'd better let one of our experts give you the final "All-Clear". :D

I would suggest that you keep your Windows and browser updated; that's one of the best ways to avoid trouble. Also, be sure you have the updates for the Microsoft Java VM; it has been an entry point for several hijackers. I assume you use it, since it came with many versions of Windows. (I replaced it in my system with SunJava, which does not have many of the problems with MS Java.)

Also follow this link to a good article on basic security, "So How did I get Infected inthe First Place?" http://forums.net-integration.net/index.php?showtopic=3051. Good luck.
Well done you two - that's a clean log.
