Cannot remove Serials3k

I downloaded Serials3k_win9x_Full.exe and did not install.A bitdefender scan reports that it has a Trojan.Clicker.Vb.ID embedded in it.I have it stored on a partitioned drive and cannot delete it along with netpumper. I also get a message that "cannot delete Dd1 & De77" when I try to empty my Recycle bin.I think these two are connected somehow. Bitdefender & Norton both report that the repair or delete FAILED. Please can anyone give me advice? Much appreciated!! My Hijack log is normal and no strange entries there!

hi jocksonic, serials3K is that what i think it is? half the cracks,keygens etc one can download are nothing but trojans. try booting into safe mode to remove the files.

Thank you Shelflife for the help. I think you are right but now I'm battling to boot into safe mode.. It gives me a blue screen…IRQL_Not_Less_or_Equal…so now I have to fix that first.. and then fix the serials3k problem..

ok hold off on safe mode for now. try a online scan at one or two of these:

BitDefender Free Online Virus Scan

check AutoClean under Scan Options.

Panda ActiveScan

check Disinfect automatically under Scan Options.

Housecall at TrendMicro
http://housecall.trendmicro.com/housecall/start_corp.asp
check Auto Clean.
When it completes, post back the full filename of any files that cannot be cleaned or deleted.
