You need to move Hijackthis instructions here.


Reboot in safe mode. Close all Browser and Program Windows.
Have HijackThis fix the following. Do this by checking the box beside each and then clicking on Fix checked.

You still need to set you computer to show hidden files. Click here for Instructions.
Then click start>my computer>local disk
(then follow the path) or Using Windows Explorer, locate the following files/folders, and delete them:
Delete the following file(s) listed.
C:\DOCUME~1\SUSANS~1\APPLIC~1\WayBleh\16 meta.exe <<I would like to see this file before you delete it
C:\DOCUME~1\SUSANS~1\APPLIC~1\GREATA~1\Less Amen.exe

This is the way it will need to be added in killbox you will need to get the path on the search.
C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS\user name\applic....\WayBleh\16 meta.exe



Run Pocket Killbox, and click the radio button that says Delete a file on reboot. For each of the files you could not delete, paste them one at a time into the full path of file to delete box and click the red circle with a white cross in it.

The program will ask you if you want to reboot; say No each time until the last one has been pasted in whereupon you should answer Yes.

Then Run 3S under “Items To Clear” tab place a checkmark in all of them but the last.
Reboot and Rescan with HJT and post a new log here.
Also please describe how your computer behaves now.

Ok, when I sent those files to you at security central, when I looked in the waybleh folder it was empty, now that file is there again. I tried to log onto that site to send you that file and It says I don't have permission or may have been locked out by someone or something so I am unable right now to send that file, and I don't want to delete anything until I do, just wanted to let you know that I am unable to send it at this time. I will try again tomorrow

and....for some reason now, I can use the Internt through AOL but when I try to use Firefox of IE I keep getting the error that they can not be found....grrr...hope I didn't delete something I shouldn't have.

Log looks clean. Flush any DNS caches , Two examples are routers that act as proxy nameservers, and versions of Windows that support DNS caching. The way to fix the router cache is to power cycle the router. The way to fix XP is to enter the command "ipconfig /flushdns" at a cmd.exe prompt with out the quotes
